Covenant Keeping God

​

​Covenant in the Bible is a sacred, binding promise and relationship which was initiated by God with humanity.  The Hebrew word for covenant is Berith which means an agreement, pact, or solemn commitment.  God is faithful and constant. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! "Therefore, know that the Lord your God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments." Deuteronomy 7:9. He is unchangeable and faithful to His Word we can trust Him to do exactly what He says He will do.

  God's Word declares:

  " I will not violate my covenant or alter the Word that went forth from my lips."​

 Psalms 89:34

 " I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come, to be your God and the God of your descendants after you." 

 Genesis 17:7

  "Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed," says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

Isiah 54:10

"This is the covenant I will make with the people of Isreal after that ime," declares th Lord. " I will put my laws in their minds and write it on their hearts, I will be their God, and they will be my people. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."
